We rented the entire Miller Motorsports track and invited our customers to come and play for a day. Miller Motorsports is one of the newest and best road racing facilities in the US and boasts a track length of 4.5 miles with 24 turns and a strait two thirds of a mile long. We started the day by unloading the trucks and getting the cars ready for battle. We had a short introductory class to familiarize us with the track and then those with experience were turned loose to drive. The folks new to track driving got orientation on track rules, driving theory and a ride around the track to show the proper line. We spent the rest of the day alternating between beginning and advanced groups, with a break for lunch and parade laps. The parade laps allowed drivers to take children and the faint of heart for a mild ride without the need for full safety equipment. Because of the size of the track and the relatively few number of cars, drivers of all abilities had a chance to push their cars and test the limits. Some drivers were even able to take advantage of Miller Motorsports generous run off room. Click on the thumbnails to see more.
