Trunk Prop Rod

Parts:

trunk prop-rod
1/4-28 x 1”
1/4” jam nut (2)
1/4” jet nut (2)
1/4” washer (8)

Tools:

ratchet
1/4” socket
7/16” wrench (2)

While the pictures clearly show the proper installation of the prop-rod (as will be the case in many parts of the manual), be careful not to tighten the jet nuts onto the bolts. Instead, just run them down so there is no play in the prop-rod. Tightening them will just make your trunk feel stiff when you open and shut it.
