Roll Bar
Parts:
grommets (2)
5/16-24 x 1.46” bolt (3)
5/16-24 x 1.72” bolt (5)
5/16-24 x 1.97” bolt
5/16-24 x 2.23” bolt
5/16” washer (16)
5/16” jet nut (10)
1/2” shcs (socket head cap screw) x 1 1/2” (2)
Tools:
1/2” wrench
ratchet
3/8” socket
3/8” allen socket
an assistant
Trunk mount with rear strut inserted
Rear bulkhead brace
Backside of rear bulkhead brace
Install the trunk mount using the 1.46” bolts on top and the 1.72” bolts on the bottom. (figure 1)
Slide the roll bar rear strut into the trunk mount.
Install the grommets in the holes on the cowl.
Lubricate grommets with windex or soapy water
Hold the rear bulkhead brace in place while installing the main part of the bar.
Slide the main part of the roll bar into place through grommets.
Use the other two 1.72” bolts to bolt on the back part of the rear bulkhead brace.
Check holes in strut to make certain all line up (and are not 180° off)
Bolt the strut in place using the 2.23” bolt in the trunk
Bolt the top of the strut with the 1.97” bolt.
Use the two 1/2” shcs's to bolt the main part of the roll bar to the frame.
