Notice: Lifting the car with the jack hooks will damage the aluminum body!

Yes, this will also damage original cars. In the 1960's, winning races was far more important than keeping the nose wrinkle-free.

  1. install all 8 grommets.
  2. thread a washer onto every bolt
  3. thread all bolts onto the jack hooks
  4. add spacers
  5. push bolts and spacers through grommets in body
  6. tighten
all locations are designated above in the parts.

note:Originally, the jack hooks were installed differently from car to car. The photos above show how we typically install them. To install them differently, keep in mind that you will need different lengths of spacers and bolts.
