Our cars start at $39,995 for the 427 models and $44,995 for the 289 models.
Each replica comes standard with most everything needed to complete a car (less engine, exhaust, clutch, transmission, drive shaft, differential and half shafts). Your cars have evolved over the years, do you still make ‘original’ style cars?
Our bodies and frames are still duplicates of the originals but our standard billet suspensions and detail parts have improved greatly. We can still build an original style car, but remember, the closer you get to original the more expensive a car will be. This is especially true of the 289 style cars. The parts that go into an original style car are usually more expensive and certainly more labor intensive.
Why are the 427 cars less expensive than the 289 cars?
It boils down to economies of scale, we sell more 427 cars than 289 cars so we can build the 427 cars with less expense. The 427 KMS/SC, 427 KMS/Street and 427 KMS/Lemans cars use the same bucks for the most part so the tooling cost is shared between the two models. It is also cost effective to have dedicated staff and tooling to build those models. The 289 KMS/FIA, 289 KMS/Street and 289 KMS/Lemans require their own tooling because of the differences in their respective body shapes so the tooling costs can not be shared.
