Open house Jan 2010

We had an open house on Saturday, February 13th at the Kirkham Motorsports Provo, UT factory.  From 10:00 am – 4:00 pm we had lectures and demonstrations of our new manufacturing techniques, and, as always, a great lunch.

David Kirkham spoke about the company’s birth with just a few tools and a dream to make cars in an old MiG fighter factory in Poland.   Through 2009 Kirkham Motorsports has produced over 700 cars.

Billet Goodness

Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle said: “David, I want you to build me exactly the cobra you’d build for yourself if money was absolutely no consideration.”

The car is a KMS427SC. Except that everything under the skin is billet. billet frame, billet floors, billet everything.  It will hopefully be the most rigid, yet lightest cobra in existence.

Yep, it’s gonna cost little over a million bucks when all is said and done.
